Bakery

The Authentic Bread Co. of Newent bakes a great range of breads, cakes, and flapjacks which is available all week. Alex Gooch, the award-winning baker from Hay-on-Wye, delivers his artisan bread on Fridays & Saturdays. He specialises in sourdough ryes, Italian breads & stone ground whites, wholemeals & spelts using long fermentation to produce a truly unique range of breads. Advance bookings are advisable to avoid disappointment. Sally Loach of For the Love of Food, based in Leominster, bakes mouth watering cakes, savoury tarts, biscuits etc. Cakes can be baked to order.

Bread & Other Purpose Flours

Heygates of Northampton’s renowned bread flours are available in 1.5kg, 3kg, and also discounted bulk16kg bags. We stock an extensive range of Doves Farm Organic strong and baking flours as well as gluten free flours, wholemeal and white spelt, rye etc. In addition we have introduced a selection of Wessex flours. Other flours include barley, soya, maize, polenta, rice, millet, & buckwheat etc.

Breakfast Time

Our cereal range comprises approximately 30 oats, flakes (including quinoa, barley, buckwheat, rye, rice etc), brans, mueslis & granolas. Boxed cereals from Natures Path, Doves, WholeEarth, Jordans, Dorset & Alara etc.

Our Ecover refill station offers laundry & washing up liquids, fabric softener, multipurpose & toilet cleaner refills when you bring an empty bottle.                  Ecover, Bio-D and Earth Friendly products are stocked, alongside toilet rolls, kitchen towels, bin bags, air fresheners & scouring pads.

A selection of roast ground coffees, instant, and loose coffee beans are also available as well as coffee substitutes & hot chocolate drinks. Non-dairy milks include Provamel, Rice Dream, Plamil, Sojade, Ecomil and Oatly.
